About Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic gymnastics is an Olympic sport blending gymnastics, ballet, and dance with equipment like ribbons, balls, ropes, hoops, and clubs.

Athletes perform on a carpet to various music styles, either solo or in groups of five. The apparatus is integral to the routine, used with both hands, thrown, and kept in motion.

The choreography showcases athletic skills with dazzling tosses, difficult catches, high leaps, jumps, incredible flexibility, creative apparatus movements, challenging balances, and graceful pirouettes.
